aims to create and develop consistent, educational, competitive and sustainable programs in Durham, Chapel Hill and some Cary areas for kids of all ages, races, genders and income levels- including special needs. In addition, we strive to enhance the lives of people in our community through soccer and education by promoting healthy lifestyle habits and volunteer service.

To enhance the lives of all young people; using soccer as a powerful tool to improve their education, health, and community engagement while focusing on developing values and ethical principles. Through our soccer programs, we hope to give all kids equal opportunities based on diversity, compassion, integration to be successful in their lives

LEADERSHIP//BOARD

Martin Rodriguez is the Hope Project Fútbol founder. Coach Martin has accounting experience in his country, Peru. He decided to follow his passion of soccer to the USA, with over 35 years of experience playing soccer; he began in his childhood and continued through high school and college. He has been coaching for almost 10 years in different countries across different levels and age groups. His mission is to teach every player to appreciate the benefits of discipline, hard work, socialization, sportsmanship, personal achievement and team spirit. He has experience coaching boys and girls programs from U6 to High School varsity teams. He also has experience working with kids with disabilities.

Michelle Pfeiffer is the Founder and Director of Anna’s Angels Foundation, a nonprofit foundation focused on funding Down syndrome research at Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center. Anna’s Angels mission is to improve the cognitive and communicative ability of individuals with Down syndrome. In 2013 Ms. Pfeiffer was recognized by Duke for raising over one million dollars.
Prior to Anna’s Angels, Ms. Pfeiffer was a Senior Manager at MCI Communication Corporation. She managed the Technical Support Center for their global accounts providing 7×24 services to many of the companies multimillion-dollar customers. During her career she received numerous awards including the highest being named to the Ring of Champions.
Ms. Pfeiffer earned a BA in Business Management and Communications from NC State University. While pursuing her career at MCI she completed her MBA at Meredith College graduating at the top of her class.

Geannie has lived in the Triangle area for over twenty years with her husband and two active, teenage boys.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.  Geannie has worked with Gaston County Schools and Wake County Public School System, both in Transportation, where her responsibilities included development and implementation of school bus safety and community awareness programs, bus driver recruitment, coordination of school bus driver license training, and in-service training for bus drivers and other school transportation personnel.  Geannie now works as a Real Estate Broker with Keystone Properties.  She has had volunteer involvement with various athletic organizations, Special Olympics, school and church groups.

She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
